Dr Divide will come along to wow your children with his awesome assembly which is absolutely free! Of course Dr Divide, aka Ben Barber, the owner and founder of Monster Maths, is fully DBS checked. He brings with him academic experience of maths with an MA from Oxford, 15 years maths tutoring experience from age 5 to 50 and most importantly monstrous amounts of enthusiasm for working with children. I should have mentioned that with years of experience in Scouting, he has grown the size of his scout group threefold over the last 4 years! Dr Divide will show the students amazing magic tricks in the assembly and then all the children will be given a leaflet about the Monster Maths club to take home.
We then run the Monster Maths club at the school on a day agreed with you for an hour a week for 6 weeks. Again this is at absolutely no cost to the school. We limit the number of sign ups to the space available. A classroom is usually perfect although on some of the more energetic weeks we may ask to use the hall for some of our games.
If you receive Pupil Premium for some pupils then we welcome Pupil Premium payment for those pupils directly from the school.
